Dr. Faisal Alrebeish is currently an Assistant Professor at KACST. He received his Bachelor Degree in Computer Science and Information Systems from King Saud University (2007). He then received a Master's Degree in Advanced Computer Science specializing in robotics (2011) and PhD in Computer Science specializing in cloud based systems (2016) from Birmingham University in the United Kingdom. Prior to pursuing his master’s degree studies, Dr. Alrebeish participated on a project that successfully developed an automatic control system for a newly designed unmanned vehicle. His research interests lie primarily in applying software engineering and self-adaptive artificial intelligence in the areas of autonomous robotic systems.
